Today, the majority of HAKUHODO brushes are makeup brushes. However, our craftsmanship originates from traditional Japanese brushes called 'Menso' brushes, and we continue to manufacture brushes as a tool.
Following on from spring project, a set of Menso brushes suitable for drawing autumn motifs will be released.
For the Autumn Etegami Set, we have selected brushes that are easy to handle for both bold paintings with large overhangs and delicate paintings expressed with fine lines.
With these brushes, you may paint various autumn motifs, such as flowers and seasonal foods, freely as you like.

This calligraphy brush has firm hair tips, providing easy, straight and simple line drawing. The hairs are well organized and uniformed, making them easy to draw from weak to solid lines, and the bristles enable the painter to control the thickness of the drawing lines. You may draw large, bold pictures of autumn motifs, such as pumpkins, chestnuts, persimmons, etc. Ideal for writing Kana characters, calligraphy letters, and captions on a picture. - □Japanese Painting Brush Saishiki L （goat & raccoon dog & horse）
It is made with goat hairs that absorb paint well and stiff raccoon and horse hairs for the core of the brush. Hairs are united well, helping you to paint as you desire.
